Abby turned 5

Abby turned 5! We had a fun time at the bounce around with friends and family!! She got to celebrate at preschool and church so her celebrating went on for awhile! Abby is sure changing she is finally starting to talk a little bit at church and school! She loves it and loves her friends but she just is so stubborn and won't talk! Some of Abby's favorite things to do is play with her dolls(pretend she's the babysitter), dress up, hang out and wrestle with her brother, pick on her sister, love on all of us! She is such a special part of our family and adds so much joy to our lives! I'm thankful everyday God blessed us with a stubborn, loving, caring, giving, precious little girl 5 years ago!! Love you Abby Joy! We love you and your brother and your sister love you VERY much you are an awesome sister!

UPDATES!

Ok I think I got us up to date now with a nice quick list of the last few months....birthday updates... school updates.... and now I can carry on from here! I love these three so very much!

Jake is 7!

Another birthday I missed! I really did miss Jake's this year I flew out to my nieces graduation in Oregon and left on his b-day:( We had a party for him and gave him an early present... his dog Box... so I think all in all he had a pretty good celebration! He got to go with his friend Cooper to bball camp and I believe they spoiled him a bit over there too!! Great friends make life a little better! jake I can't believe you are 7 all done with your first year of school and ready to face anything that comes your way! We love you buddy and look forward to watching you grow these next 7 years!

Jacy turned ONE!

Looks like i missed posting my baby girls first birthday! She turned one May 27 and had a wonderful day! We had a nice little party and she loved all of it! Jacy is such a spit fire! All over the place and crazy as can be! She is a wonderful blessing in our family and loved a lot!! Jacy we love you!

Abby's First Day of Preschool!

Abby's first day of preschool was August 17. Jake hasn't started school so it's been a nice transition for her to get all the attention! The first day was tough, but she has been getting better every day! She had show and tell today and got up and talked...that was very surprising to me! She really seems to like it and hopefully this helps her come out of her shell a little!!

Had a wonderful VBS
Jake finished up his baseball season and loved it!
I went to Oregon for our niece Brynn's graduation in June...took Jacy left behind the others. Went with my in-laws
Spent some time in WA again this summer leaving my husband behind... came home to some nice changes in the house
Spent lots of time with family and friends in WA
Met a college friend spent several hours catching up after not seeing each other in 8 years!
Went to Duncan to see Ma and Papa's new house and spend time with them
Ran a basketball tournament in Norman
Abby has started pre school
Abby learned to tie her shoes
Abby learned to ride her bike without training wheels!
Abby is growing up!
Jake is waiting to start school
Jacy is talking like crazy in her own language:)
so that's everything in a nutshell I'll try to post some more details soon!

Happy Mother's Day! First of all I have to say I am so blessed to be the mom of the three most adorable kids ever! They bring so much joy to my life every day with their stories, their smiles, giggles, and laughs, their hugs and kisses and listening to their prayers! I am one lucky mom! Jacy is 11 months!

Jacy is 11 months and on the go! She has been walking for the last couple weeks now and is only getting faster:) My parent's were out and got to witness those first steps! She has been quite the little rascal lately but so fun to watch and see her change! Her sleeping has been wonderful allowing me some good nights rest!! She was dedicated in Church on Mother's Day a very special day! We just keep on loving her more each day what a beautiful baby you are Jacy Kate!!

Spring is in the air!!!

Spring has come and the weather has been pretty nice!! We went to the lake and played and have been spending a lot of time outside. Jake had his school spring program and sang about Kansas' 150th birthday and even did a little dance:) He was pretty good!! We went with our mom's group to the House of bounce and Abby and Jacy loved that!! I love spring!

Jacy is 10 Months!

Well a lot of time has seemed to slip by. I've been having trouble with our blog and have not taken the time to try to fix it so we'll see how it goes today!
Jacy is already 10 months where has the time gone. She is starting to walk, taking steps like a big girl. She learned to drink from a straw, and has learned how to really get our attention! She finally cut her top teeth all four but is struggling with her next two on the bottom(let's just say it's been quite a process) She is a precious little girl who destroys everything in her path:) She loves to get into the cupboards and take everything out, she likes to dump out all the toy bins one after the other. She loves to try and put her clothes, socks whatever over her head like she's dressing herself. She loves to grab a stuffed animal or doll and sit and talk to them(I think she watches her older sister) She is growing up and we're loving every minute of it!!! Her favorite thing to say is "dada" she did say "ma da" one day but i think her daddy has it won for now!!! Jacy Kate we love you so much you have a laugh that is so contagious and we love to listen to you!!!
Jake is getting down to his last days of kindergarten. He loves school and loves his friends. He has some really good buddies that he talks about all the time. He will start baseball soon. He can hardly wait for tryouts today to see if he makes machine pitch!! Sports is something he just loves. Any sport at any time he wants to play, play, play.
Abby is still my number one helper/babysitter. She will help with the kids I watch and loves playing the "mom" role. sometimes I have to remind her she is only 4!! But a very mature 4 at that:) She has a personality that is still trying to blossom in the public setting. We see it at home all the time but she is so shy around everyone else:) Abby is really starting to want to learn her letters and write them all the time. She loves to do little projects painting or coloring or whatever, she loves to play outside and play with her friends too!! It seems like we are always so busy and sometimes its just good to sit back and think about your kids and watch them grow before they are grown up and you're saying where did that time go!! I love every minute I spend with these 3 gifts from God! I couldn't be any more blessed!!

Jacy is 9 months

Jacy turned 9 months on Sunday it's really hard to believe!!! She is changing fast and growing up way too fast!! she has found her tongue and still loves to laugh! She plays with her little friend Ella now but is kind of a big bully. She can stand on her own but doesn't want to take steps! She claps so cute and with a purpose:) She hears music and starts boppin, she hears the bands at bball games and can't get enough of it! I remember Jake loved music so much when he was her age! Abby I would say is still her favorite and can get her to laugh very easily. She is still such a sweet baby who is always so happy!!! We love you Jacy Kate

8 months

Yes that is how old our baby girl is! Jacy is 8 months and changing by the day. She is pulling herself up on everything and trying to move from place to place. She doesn't realize she can really hurt herself. She destroys our house in minutes if left alone, she now gives kisses, waves bye bye and makes some pretty cute faces!! Yesterday she decided she would be big and tackle the stairs... needless to say it didn't turn out very well:( she's ok though but the gate goes back up now:) She is getting way too big, way too fast but she is sure fun!! No more teeth but she is trying hard, after a couple weeks under the weather she perked up and is as healthy as can be! What a blessing she is to our family she is still a very happy baby who loves to smile, smile, smile!!

Time...

Time flies by so fast some times it's hard to believe. This week is a busy crazy week and I think sometimes where did today go.. then it's where did the week go... and now it's almost where did January go. However it's not over yet and there are some special people to remember. On the 21st my Grandma Meenderinck had her birthday! I feel blessed to have such wonderful grandparent's and to have been able to see them this Christmas!! Tomorrow is Kaleb John's birthday he would have been 4. WOW! i watch Abby often and think of him and the things he would be doing now. I wonder what his little personality would be like and what kind of big brother now he would be to spit fire little miss kenzie:) i was talking to my sister today and was telling her I was going to have to give my testimony soon and was trying to take a little different approach. I chose to find defining moments in my life and had to make Kaleb's birth, life, and death one of the most defining moments in my life. Julie, Kermit, Kaeli, Kyler and Kenzie we love you and think about you all the time!! You are always in our prayers and we talk about Kaleb and want you to know he will never be forgotten!! My sister also celebrates a birthday this week! She is a very special person and a very special friend to me. i think about when we were little, especially when I watch my girls. I think about what they will be like when they get older! I pray that they have a close relationship and can depend on each other like my sister and I do! We may not have gotten along through our teen years, but that doesn't matter we still always loved each other:) Also our little Jacy Kate turns 8 months on my sisters b-day. She is getting way too big, pulling herself up on everything and then letting go and crashing to the ground. She's saying dada, and i'm pretty sure I heard a mama:) she signed more...when it comes to food she can't resist:) she likes to play peek-a-boo, pat-a-cake and listen to music! She loves her brother and sister very much and gets very excited when daddy comes home. She does not like vegetables, but loves to eat our food and has quite a temper if she doesn't get it!! January has been a great start to I'm sure what's going to be a great year! Happy 2011!
