It's been awhile!

Hi I'm back once again. Since I wrote last Christmas and New Year's has come and gone. We were in WA over Christmas and had a great time minus the fact that we all got sick... and Ben was stuck in Kansas 2 extra days. But he made it in on Christmas Eve, then got sick Christmas night... It wasn't so much fun for him:) After we returned to Kansas life has been pretty much basketball. We found some people to rent our house in Newton with hopes to buy it at the end of this year. On New Year's Eve we headed up to Newton to clear the rest of the stuff out of our house and garage. That was a chore. The last few weeks I've spent trying to get our house back in order again, there's nothing like moving into a house twice:) Its nice to have all our stuff here though and feel like we're in one place.

Ben is busy with coaching. They are doing pretty well I think their record is about 4-4 and this weekend there is a tournament. Ben is doing a great job with this team and even the games they lost have been close ones. Hopefully this weekend goes well. As for me I have started coaching again and am working with the 7th grade girls. That has been a little bit of a change going back to the basics, but its been fun! The girls are fun and very eager to learn! Jake and Abby come to all my practices and do great, they just roam around the courts or play with the managers.

As for Jake and Abby. Jake has found a new friend Gabe and talks about him all the time and cries when he has to leave. He is still loving school and learning a lot. His new words that crack us up are"hangabur"-Hamburger "pespi"-pepsi and "panyo"-piano.... He says them the same way consistently and just laughs because he knows he's not saying them correctly. He also is really getting into basketball at the games at half time he's dying to get out on the court and he dribbles back and forth across the gym and tries to really keep up with the big boys!

Abby is just a sweetheart but babycenter sent out the 15month letter this is what it says :Whining and screaming: If your 15-month-old has started sounding like a hyena or worse, you're experiencing his intense desire to interact with you. Children thrive on their parents' attention, and a toddler this age will do just about anything to get yours.

She has that whining down perfectly and knows how to get our attention. She is trying to say more and we're working on her saying more. We moved her into her big bed and she is loving it as are we. She sleeps much better in it then she did in her crib! She also has pretty much gotten rid of the paci... she uses it some at night. My oh my I guess she really is growing up! She's getting more hair too:)

Here are a few pictures we took before christmas for christmas cards!
