Jake's Ma was talking about Memeorial Day with him, he had spent the night over there and woke up in the morning talking about the day. She told him about the soldiers fighting for our country and for those who we remember who have died. He said, "like Baby Kaleb and Grandma Proctor?" the two deaths closest to him, he talked about baby Kaleb being up in heaven and she told him how Jesus needed Kaleb. Jake then said "does he need a Jake too?" as quickly as he said that he responded, " well not quite yet" Jake is a pretty smart boy and he talks about Kaleb and Grandma being in heaven all the time. It was pretty sweet to hear what he has to say!
Summer is definitely here in our house. Jake is going crazy not being at school and running off some of that energy, but I'm enjoying being home and being able to go to the pool and just relax.... a bit! I'm still watching Trenton and will be most of the summer! For those of you who care I'm coming out to WA the end of July and staying until Aug. 26... hopefully Julie will have had her baby by then!! I'll be out for almost a month, and Ben gets to spend the first 8 days with us:) He always hates us being gone for so long but this was the only time to make things work this year!
