Jacy is 9 months

Jacy turned 9 months on Sunday it's really hard to believe!!! She is changing fast and growing up way too fast!! she has found her tongue and still loves to laugh! She plays with her little friend Ella now but is kind of a big bully. She can stand on her own but doesn't want to take steps! She claps so cute and with a purpose:) She hears music and starts boppin, she hears the bands at bball games and can't get enough of it! I remember Jake loved music so much when he was her age! Abby I would say is still her favorite and can get her to laugh very easily. She is still such a sweet baby who is always so happy!!! We love you Jacy Kate

8 months

Yes that is how old our baby girl is! Jacy is 8 months and changing by the day. She is pulling herself up on everything and trying to move from place to place. She doesn't realize she can really hurt herself. She destroys our house in minutes if left alone, she now gives kisses, waves bye bye and makes some pretty cute faces!! Yesterday she decided she would be big and tackle the stairs... needless to say it didn't turn out very well:( she's ok though but the gate goes back up now:) She is getting way too big, way too fast but she is sure fun!! No more teeth but she is trying hard, after a couple weeks under the weather she perked up and is as healthy as can be! What a blessing she is to our family she is still a very happy baby who loves to smile, smile, smile!!

Time...

Time flies by so fast some times it's hard to believe. This week is a busy crazy week and I think sometimes where did today go.. then it's where did the week go... and now it's almost where did January go. However it's not over yet and there are some special people to remember. On the 21st my Grandma Meenderinck had her birthday! I feel blessed to have such wonderful grandparent's and to have been able to see them this Christmas!! Tomorrow is Kaleb John's birthday he would have been 4. WOW! i watch Abby often and think of him and the things he would be doing now. I wonder what his little personality would be like and what kind of big brother now he would be to spit fire little miss kenzie:) i was talking to my sister today and was telling her I was going to have to give my testimony soon and was trying to take a little different approach. I chose to find defining moments in my life and had to make Kaleb's birth, life, and death one of the most defining moments in my life. Julie, Kermit, Kaeli, Kyler and Kenzie we love you and think about you all the time!! You are always in our prayers and we talk about Kaleb and want you to know he will never be forgotten!! My sister also celebrates a birthday this week! She is a very special person and a very special friend to me. i think about when we were little, especially when I watch my girls. I think about what they will be like when they get older! I pray that they have a close relationship and can depend on each other like my sister and I do! We may not have gotten along through our teen years, but that doesn't matter we still always loved each other:) Also our little Jacy Kate turns 8 months on my sisters b-day. She is getting way too big, pulling herself up on everything and then letting go and crashing to the ground. She's saying dada, and i'm pretty sure I heard a mama:) she signed more...when it comes to food she can't resist:) she likes to play peek-a-boo, pat-a-cake and listen to music! She loves her brother and sister very much and gets very excited when daddy comes home. She does not like vegetables, but loves to eat our food and has quite a temper if she doesn't get it!! January has been a great start to I'm sure what's going to be a great year! Happy 2011!

Jacy is 7 months! Christmas Time!

Wow! where does the time go? Jacy Kate is already 7 months that also means Grumpy has been gone just that long. Jacy is growing like a weed, and crawling all over the place. She gets into a lot of stuff already. How will I keep up with her?? Christmas is over and we are getting ready to head back to Kansas. Christmas in WA is always bittersweet! Being here to celebrate is always wonderful but the goodbyes are never easy! Family is very special and very important and things change so quickly. I think back, Jake got to celebrate his first Christmas here, Abby got to be out here when Kaleb was born, and we celebrated then, and now Jacy got to be here for her first one too! But celebrating our first Christmas without Grumpy was different, we sure did miss him. Thinking Kaleb would be turning 4 soon is hard to believe it's been that long already. I am always reminded of how special our time is with those we love and living away from lots of family makes each visit extra special!! Kyler cried those tears tonight that his sister Kaeli once used to cry:)and kenzie the little monster just laughed...one day it will be her turn too!! Many special memories and many more to come!! We love all of you and we will see you this summer!!!

Jacy is 6months!

Jacy is changing so much! She had her doctors appointment and weighed 20lbs and was 28 inches long above the 95 percentile in both. No worries the nurse said she is staying on the curve just above the lines but in proportion! Jacy now has her two bottom teeth she had learned to army crawl but is now on her hands and knees moving right along! Her favorite people are Abby and Jake and of course her mom where now she cries when I leave the room.she had her first thanksgiving and was a trooper through the black Friday shopping! What a wonderful time of the year to be thankful for so many blessings!

Jacy is 5 months

Jacy sure is changing fast. She is now 5 months old and as happy as a baby could possibly be. She truly makes all of us laugh all the time. I would have to say Abby is her favorite right now, she can make her laugh just by laughing herself. Jacy has now been rolling over from her tummy to her back and rolling all over the place. She is a strong little girl and also is starting to get up on her hands and knees, she gets mad and then starts scooting backwards, just getting stronger every day. She loves to play, laugh and is trying to poke through a couple teeth. She is discovering new things every day, grabbing her toys is something new too, then they go straight into her mouth. What a true joy she is! Jacy you are very special to our family and everyone loves you VERY much!
