We're still around

I feel like its been forever since I wrote last. It actually has been quite a while. We have been very busy with basketball starting and of course getting ready for Christmas. We have had a wonderful family living with us since September because of some flooding in their house. They are hoping to be back in their home by Christmas, which is another reason I haven't been on the computer a lot. Just lots of visiting at nights when I usually do all my blogging. Like tonight, everyone is in bed and I decided to quick post a few new pictures of the kids. We are not going to WA this Christmas which makes me sad. We will have a wonderful Christmas in Kansas though, eventhough we will miss my family very much! Christmas shopping is done, now just the wrapping...one more week of basketball and then a little break! Ben has started his youth program and in 3 hours last Sat. worked with a total of around 90 kids! He was worn out when he got home. He starts with 1st grade and goes through 8th... however, Jake gets to go along and reap the benefits:) He actually was demonstrating foot fire last week, Ben said he did a great job. Abby will soon have a new friend. I'm going to be watching a little girl who is about 18months...Abby loves her eventhough Kate kind of pushes her around. Abby is a little mama to her! Well that's about it in our lives right now...I may not blog again until after Christmas...who knows?

A day at the park!

A day at the park in Kansas, in November can be fun! It was a beautiful day and the kids needed a break and Mom needed out of the house! We played and played until the rain came! I love seeing the smiles on their faces as they swing, slide and run around! What a life!

Big Girl!

Abby has been such a big girl with her potty training. I was taking pictures for her scrapbook and Jake thought he needed to be a part. We looked at Jake's pictures and he just laughed and laughed thought it was so funny.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was pretty exciting for Jake and Abby really wanted nothing to do with it! She didn't like her Dora wig, but was brave enough to wear it in a couple pictures. Jake was Batman all day and played to part well. We went to a little Trunk or Treat at our church and they had lots of fun stuff for the kids! It was great to be there at 5:00 and be done by 7:00, especially with the little ones!

more riding bike and pumpkin patch!

Here are the kids at their 2nd pumpkin patch for the year. Jake went with his preschool and Abby got to go along! It was chilly but it was a good time! Jake is getting a lot better at riding his bike. it actually is about to small for him to pedal so i guess a new one is in the works! He is so cute and so proud when he does it all by himself. He's starting to take off by himself now.

Jake is learning and getting better every day. My camera ran out of room to tape so we'll try to get a better clip today and get that posted! Jake is really trying hard to ride by himself:)

The Pumpkin Patch!

Here we are at the pumpkin patch! This was a great time and the kids loved it, thanks to Mia who had her birthday party there this year! We had so much fun!!!
