WASHINGTON!

We had some of my friends over for a nice visit and the kids got to play

Abby and Jake got to pick Blueberries... we missed strawberry and Raspberry seasons!

We spent the day at the ocean at my Aunt and Uncle's Cabin! It was a gorgeous day and my cousins and sisters were there and all our kids! Everyone had a blast! Thanks Aunt Doreen

Mark took all the kids for rides on his little surf board!

Jake and cousin Kyler were enjoying the sunset! Love this picture, they probably won't in a few years:)sorry boys

Jake and Abby loving on eachother a bit too!

The sunsets out there are absolutely beautiful! You see God's beauty in so much out here in this beautiful place!

Here's our little Dutch Girl. We hit down town one day to give Abby a taste of my life growing up:)

Jake and Abby went Bowling with their cousins Kaeli and Kyler

Jake's favorite thing to do at 2Papa and 2Ma's house!

Here's at the Lake on a nice sunny day but still a little chilly!

Here's a picture of my whole family minus one of my nieces

Here's us on a trip out in the San Juan Islands we took with my parents while Ben was out! It was a gorgeous day!
We are out in WA for a month visiting my family. I thought I would post a few pictures of our vacation out here and what we've been up to! This week it's the Fair which we'll be going to on Wed. so I'm sure I'll have more pictures to post then! WE are having a wonderful time here but missing Ben since he's been back in Kansas! We'll be back the 28th!

potty training!

Abby Joy decided it was time to get potty trained! Monday morning I gave her a bath and she didn't want to put on a diaper. I told her it was o.k. but she needed to be a big girl and go pee pee on the potty! Since Monday that's what she's been doing. Today she has been in panties all day long! She even tells me when she needs to go. I don't know this could be it? I wouldn't complain that's for sure. However we are making a month long trip to WA and then will be moving when we get back so that might not be so good but for now we're off to a great start! Way to go ABBY!!!!

Our Newest Fish!

Jake has become quite the swimmer and we're having a hard time keeing him out of the pool. The first time we came to the pool he was always wanting us to catch him and would hardly jump in... now he's swimming w/o swimmies and diving in, doing flips and swimming with his head under water! I can't believe what one month can do! Then there is our little Abby who just likes to wear her swimmies and walk around the pool and throw things in the pool! If I'm in the water she'll usually take a little dip:)

T-ball

Jake finished up his first season of T-ball and boy was it a challenge:) We had fun coaching and Jake had a great time playing. I was surprised how much they improved I didn't really think it would happen in T-ball. Anyway here are a few pictures from his last game and our picnic where they also received a trophy which was a big hit(thanks to Kody's mom for that)!

Happy 4th

We celebrated the 4th of July by going to the zoo with some friends and had a great time. The kids of course loved it except for abby who was a bit scared mostly of all the farm animals:) She warmed up pretty fast though as long as she didn't get to close. Then we went and watched the Ark City fireworks show! We had a wonderful day and a nice time to just relax.

VBS

The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything! This was the VBS that we did this last week. I taught the preschool with a friend and we had anywhere from 10-14 pre-schoolers each day! We had a good time and Jake learned a lot! He loved all the singing and soaked in all the stories! It was a great week and Abby even got to hang out with all of us and started singing some of the songs!

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY JAKE!

Jake turned 4 on Monday the 2nd and had a pretty good day! We had a swimming party at Ma and Papa's house on Sat. for him and he had some friends and family there! He was pretty pooped but seemed to really have a good time! On his birthday he spent the morning at basketball camp with daddy! He loved camp and the rest of the week he went and tried to keep up with the big boys! We went swimming with some friends, had cupcakes, went to town got an ice cream sunday with sprinkles, he opened some presents, had mac and cheese for dinner, ma and papa came to say hi and pooped out for the night he was!!! I can't believe he is 4 already here are a few pictures from his birthday, I don't have the ones from his party yet!
