Abby Is ONE!

Happy Birthday Abby! Today is Abby's 1st birthday! We are going to have some fun celebrating today! Then Aunt Julie, Uncle Kermit and Kaeli and Kyler come tomorrow so we'll have more fun celebrating this weekend! Abby has had a pretty quiet day, yesterday she was sick so today she is recovering a bit! But she's already had Jake sing to her and phone calls from family and watched Bear in the Big Blue house--- Tutter's birthday party:) and tonight she can look forward to dinner and ice cream with papa and ma and presents to open! We love you Abby and wish you a very happy and special First Birthday!

I guess I better post Abby's first game too! She was pretty excited and had a good time running around:) But she can now say she's been to a game too!OU vs. Utah State!

Still figuring out new things!

I'm still working on ways to make my blog better and trying to get it organized! hang with me! I now got the picture thing figured out so I'm going to try to organize a bit!

This last week was good...
-we almost have Abby's room done, thanks to Ma for making the curtains and helping out so much!
-Jake had a great week of "F" at his school. He colored a fireman named Uncle John and shared a feather. He just loves school!
- we will have a new piano or two this week. Well not new but antique we're excited about our new addition to the house. Atleast I am I can't wait to play again! Our church was getting rid of some old ones, so we'll see what we need to put into them:) Thanks to dad for doing a little research for us!
-As you can see on the pictures we celebrated Papa's birthday! Jake and Abby surprised him at the clinic with some balloons and candy and then we all went out to dinner!
- I am playing on a softball team... let's just say I'm officially bad! They've made me the catcher! Its o.k. I'm handling it quite well:)
- Ben's off to a b-ball clinic this weekend and getting very ecited about the season! Here we GO!
- By the way for those of you who didn't know, we're the Ark City Bulldogs!
-Also My sister, Brother-in-law and niece and nephew are coming out to visit! YAH! I'm so excited and they will be here to help us celebrate Abby's 1st b-day! I can hardly believe it!
Well I'm still working on settling in over here so i'm just trying to update when I have a chance, hope this gives you an idea of what's going on over here!

Our crazy life continues.

Well we are back! We finally got internet back and TV and feel like we're in the real world again. I will update you quickly and fill you in on the last month then I should be able to keep up and keep you posted throughout!
starting from returning from WA last time:)
well we thought all was well with the house situation but found out that the lady backed out on us... so we still are trying to sell it. Very frustrating but we are continuing to be patient and let God be in control of this situation.

*July 27- we ran the Norman bball tournament and it was a very good tournament. We run it with another couple and take one guy to work with us. There were about 75 teams this year which was way up from last years 43 or so. We have fun doing it and Abby even came along for this one.
*The very next weekend we were working the national tournament in Wichita which made for 2 very crazy weekends but it worked out well!
*Back to the house situation... the people we were suppose to buy from are great people and have been willing to let us rent until we sell our house! That was a huge blessing because we really liked the house...which we are now officially in!!! We have already been working on some big and little projects, trying to make it our own!!
*Well we spent some time at the lake with Ben's parents at the sailboat, Jake and Abby both love the water!! We also spent some good time swimming at the pool...
*Then in August my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and Jake, Abby and myself flew out to surprise them! We did and had a wonderful celebration!!

*while we were gone to WA Ben and his parents moved us into our new house so here we are today.

* The kids and I returned home from WA only to get stuck overnight in Dallas... it never fails when I fly something always seems to go wrong lately... we didn't have luggage when we got to Wichita the next morning...no carseats! But we made it back and have been enjoying moving in!

*Tuesday September 4 Jake went for his first day of pre-school! He was so cute and just walked in and never once looked back at me:) he really likes going and goes every day from 12:15-2:45 so mom and abby have some good quality time

*one of the first projects in the house is abby's room, i'll post a few pictures of the before and when we get done i'll post the final project...let's just say the house is covered in wallpaper:)

*Ben is still enjoying school and is working out the bball boys after school

*Jake went to his first OU Football game last weekend...pretty spoiled!

*Abby is pretty much walking and climbing on everything!
